EPFL Fellowships at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland

The École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) is a research institute and university in Lausanne, Switzerland, that specializes in natural sciences and engineering.It is one of the two Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology, and it has three main missions: education, research and technology transfer at the highest international level.
                                             


EPFL offers a limited number of fellowships at the Master’s level to students with outstanding academic records. Some of the fellowships are financed by EPFL directly and others through partnerships with foundations or companies.

Target group: All students including international students
Eligibility Criteria:
Anyone applying to an EPFL Master’s Program is eligible for the scholarship. Anyone holding a Bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent) in a related field from a recognized university can apply to one of the EPFL Masters Programs.
The selection of candidates and the granting of the fellowships is done based solely on the evaluation of the academic records of the candidates.
Method of Application:
Applications for admissions open on 15 November 2018.
The application is done via the same online form than your application to a Master’s program. It is however necessary to tick a box indicating that your profile should also be considered for an excellence fellowship. Applications can be filled online from  mid-November to the 15th of January, or from the 16th of January to the 15th of April.  Candidates who need a visa are strongly advised to apply by the January deadline.

MSc Scholarships at Leiden University in Netherlands , 2019

Course Level:  Scholarships are available to pursue a Master degree.
Eligible Nationalities: The Leiden-CEU Presidium Liberates Scholarship is open for all nationalities (except the Dutch nationality).
Eligibility Criteria:
1. In prior academic education abroad, the student must have achieved excellent study results which are relevant to the Master program for which the student wishes to enrol. Leiden University will only review the scholarship applications which are pre-selected by the Central European University, Budapest.
2. The Leiden-CEU Presidium Liberates Scholarship is open for all nationalities (except the Dutch nationality). The student will not be eligible for support under the Dutch system of studies financiering (study grants and loans).
3. The student has been admitted (un)conditionally to a Master program at Leiden University.
4. The student will submit a letter of motivation of max. 500 words, motivating why he/she should be awarded the scholarship.
5.  At the time of application, you must be registered as a student at CEU.]
6. You must obtain your degree from CEU in the academic year prior to the start of your Master’s program at Leiden University.
